Nice starter dirtbike

My daughter decided ro get this dirt bike instead of having a big birthday party and boy are we all glad she did. This is our third Razor and we could be happier. Her dad looks great on it and gets lots of attention when he's on it. Our dog rides too!

You need this in your life!

I got this for my 9yr old daughter as an introductory dirt bike so she can ride around the neighborhood. She has been riding it almost everyday. Only really times battery life the first day, but after and hour-hour and a half of full speed riding around our neighborhood the battery started to slow.  Very happy with product

Great for 9 year old

Well i have 2 now and have had them all my life, i modify them top to bottom. Adding new motor to redoing the fairings. Ive had the mx500 as a kid. Im now 21 years old, and still ride obviously with the modification to help with range and speed. The only 2 things i would like to point out is that after awhile the sprocket may go due to overtorque from the motor for you new riders. It can be fixed by not hardlaunching the bike. The second is that i have a mx650 from 2006 (purple) and one from (2016). The 2006 looks like is was built with a lot more quality, the welds are more discrete and theres even color on the battery covers compared to a bit sloppyer welds on the newer razor. They are still built to last and are fun to mod and ride.

Great For All Ages

Easy to assemble.  Bought for my kids who are 9 %26 10.  It is definitely a little faster than I expected so we may wait a little while before letting them ride it.  Or just let them ride it on trails instead of our subdivision.  Definitely must wear proper protective headgear - not just a bicycle helmet.

Easy to upgrade / modify to accommodate for older and heavier rider.  Videos step by step on you tube. 
My bike has an upgraded 1800 watt brushless motor. Upgraded speed controller and full throttle. 
Shock , Chain, Handle Bars, hand guards and 4 new 12v 15ah batteries.  
Topped off with a paint job and motor cross decals.  
30+mph.

Fun for All Ages

Just charged it and rode it for the first 40 minutes and after recharging and going for a second run the chain breaks...my kid is heartbroken...christmas gift

So I believed that buying a Razor product would guarantee a quality bike for my kid for Charismas. No so much. The sprocket broke loose from the wheel on the first ride down the street. 60 lb. kid. I looked on-line to see what could be the problem and it turns out it is a decades old defect. WOW. I've even read where people go through three wheels during the warrantee period only to have them all fail. They then are stuck and have to go to a welder to fix the issue or fabricate a better solution. Really? RETURN AND NEVER  BUY A RAZOR PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
