Did not come with batteries. However, I checked requirements in the description and ordered batteries when I ordered the treadmill. I'm not sure why so many leave a negative review just because of the battery. 
I love machine. It doesn't take up much space. It's easy to set up and use. It has wheels and lightweight so I can move it from room to room with no issues. The display is easy to read and understand. The simplicity of it makes it perfect for me.

this is by far so much better than i expected!!! if your thinking about a walking pad this is the one! compact and motor is not loud !!! perfect for days you cant go outside due to weather !!!!!

amazing compact

Replaced our large Iron Man from 2008. We downsized and the Iron Man (a great treadmill) was too big and difficult to move.
      This is great for keeping us moving in inclement weather or watching TV. Has rollers and a breeze to move around. We require a counter (chair would work) for balance, just in case. Has a nice remote. The remote requires a button battery CR2032.

Portable, Remote Great Treadmill for Limited Space

After working long hours at my desk, I had a desire to be able to move more with the limited time that I have available. I purchased the super fit treadmill, hoping it wouldn't feel cheap under my feet, (as I had a handy me down treadmill in the past for a home gym and it wasn't worth the space).
This walking pad has been a complete game changer for me. And my first day I walked five miles total and didn't even realize it. The second day of having it under my desk I walked 6 miles in three different increments, and again, didn't even notice it while I was doing my work.
This treadmill feels very sturdy and has a fairly slim profile which I like. I chose the white color and it has a nice aesthetic, feel in my office, which was also important to me. I placed it on top of an exercise mat that mimics the silhouette, and you can't see below it. This isn't required, but since I'm using it on carpet
I figured it would help keep carpet, fibers, and dirt out of the belt.
It comes with a remote, which is very easy to pair and shows a number of different settings which it filters through, while you are using it, such as distance, time, calories, etc. 
I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to a stand up convertible desk so I bought a desk riser which I can easily slide under my desk. I can also stand this up against the wall and hide it behind a curtain if I don't want to have it out furthermore, I do enjoy the fact that it has a little wheels in the front and it's easy for me to move if needed. I am already using this even more than I anticipated, and it has been great. Overall, five stars, based off of the four weeks that I have had it. I can even sit next to the treadmill at my desk if desired, although, I may fully commit to a convertible standing desk. This was to dip my toe in the water. So far, so good. Love it! If you know that you could use more steps in your day, then I highly recommend getting this treadmill backslash walking pad.

Even better than expected

I love this walk pad/treadmill -

Remote function: on time response when you mash pause. Although it stops your workout once pause it's ok because I can just restart and calculate when I stopped. Love the remote feature!
Functionality: I love that it slides under my desk, sleek model and easy to move when not using. 
Drawback: mine keeps skipping which throws me off balance. I don't know if it's a flaw with mine or if it does it to all.

Great work companion

Easy setup, lightweight, fairly quiet but did need to turn up TV a bit. 

Received it today so I only gave it an average rating at this point since I haven't walked on it more than 5 minutes. it was easy to unpack and was packed well so I needed to use scissors to cut through tape on the inside and outside of the box. all I needed to do was read the instructions, screw in two foot pads at the roller end, installed a CR2032 battery in the remote with energizer battery writing side up, plugged the electric cord into the wall and the machine next to the power button, turned on the power, paired the remote by pressing/holding the remotes arrow until it beeped three times, stepped on the machine and used the arrow keys to control speed. Did not need to adjust anything before use, just plugged and played for less than 5 minutes to test.

I normally walk on regular treadmill at 2.0 holding on for dear life. I am able to walk between 1.5 and 1.6 and catch myself with the wall due to my balance issues, this should help improve my balance.

Easy to setup, Lightweight, Fairly Quite.

When used daily the mat begins to deviate to one side or the other when adjusted as mentioned in the book now it's doesn't roll any more if your trying to get on it to walk, when you step off and cut it on it works just makes a loud noise. Save your money, walk outside.

I like it, but it has marks all over it. I don't know if it's refurbished. If that's the case you should let us know before we buy things like this kind of ridiculous.

It's OK I would definitely Buy a different brand

There was no battery and I never saw what type of battery I needed. Finally I had to search Google and YouTube. I think this is poor service. So I have to wait to go get one before I can use it.

No battery!

Tried contacting Costway. I got an error message E02 and it smelt like burning. I loved this until now and now Walmart told me this was going to be picked up by FedEx only to find out the customer service representative lied and a return was not even started like I was told and it is now right outside of the 90 day return window. Horrible customer service by Walmart and I have not heard back from Costway. I am very disappointed!
