Well it looks like I was one of the few lucky ones that got there TV delivered without it being broken. It was only a day late although they didn't call me like they were supposed to so the TV was sitting on my porch all day, good thing I don't live in a bad neighborhood. lol. I actually didn't open it until a week later because I needed help putting it on the wall. I just happen to see these review showing a coworker what I bought and freaked out seeing all the negative ones. 

But it was fine and TV looks great. It was replacing a old but very high end Samsung SUHD LED TV and the extra 10" with this TCL is nice but the Samsung still had a nice picture, but there was some light bleeding through parts on the screen and it was getting worse.

Overall I'm happy with the TV especially with the price and hopefully it last a long time.

This review is for the TV itself. It met all my expectations for it as I already had the 65" Google TV model (65R646) purchased the year before. I was extremely anxious about what condition it would arrive in from reading the other reviews, but all my worries were laid to rest as soon as I had powered it on.
Unfortunately, were I to review the delivery process, I would have to give 1 star (and I'm being incredibly generous) as the shipment was interminably delayed and misrouted (sent to Pensacola instead of Jacksonville). As the photos of the box attest, the damage was considerable and worrisome. I wish I had taken photos upon delivery but I was just in a hurry to bring it inside to inspect the damage.

Terrific TV but terrible shipping!

I wanted a bigger TV for my too-big family room, so when I saw this TV at 50% off with member early access, I got it (I'm retired on a budget).  My GF and I have other TCL RokuTVs so we're pleased with the quality and pricing.  I wanted the Roku interface, it's simple, and we're familiar with it on many TVs.   

The image quality does take some getting used to.  QLED TVs are known for having a “fake” look, and now I know what that means.  Basically, these sets insert extra frames into the video to smooth the image, but it can make your favorite movies look a little fake (like soap operas).  Films are generally shot at 24-30fps, so inserting extra frames can diminish the original look.  See tip below to adjust it. 

We didn't mount it on the wall, because we have a sturdy TV table.  The included TV stand attaches easily, and It's strong...nice not to drill holes in the wall. 

Otherwise, we're really enjoying having a 75” TV in a big room.  We view it from about 15' away, I wouldn't sit any closer than 12' to enjoy this TV.  It is like having a little theater in the house.  The color is stunning, and the picture quality is a step up from our LED TVs.  The sound isn't bad, but I do suggest getting a good external sound system.  Minimize room light, too, because the glossy screen is a big mirror for any lights behind you.   

Is it comparable to a $3000 QLED?  Well, not quite, but close.  It's a very enjoyable TV to watch.   

TIP:  

You can adjust the picture to improve the look of films on QLED TVs.  TCL does bury these settings.  Go here:  Options (* button on remote) -> picture settings -> customize picture -> expert settings -> action smoothing. The default is "high," so try reducing it to "medium" or "low" and you'll probably like the picture better.  Try adjusting “action clarity” and “LED motion clarity,” too, to suit your taste.

Not a OLED TV, but QLED is close enough for us.

The sad thing is I can't give you a detailed review, because the company that Walmart uses for shipping sucks.  Walmart used Pilot shipping, a Maersk company, to ship my TV to me.  The TV shipping address is in Washington State, they picked up the TV on Nov 30 and put it on a truck, the first destination was Indianapolis and that is when the tracking stopped.  It was supposed to arrive on Dec 7th.  That didn't happen, and the tracking is still stuck on in transit to Indianapolis.  I finally got a hold of local employees, and first they told me, it was in Columbus, Ohio.  Today I find out that it is sitting in a warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia, which is really stupid that it is in Georgia when it is supposed to be delivered to the West Coast and started in the Midwest. They are telling me now that they don't know when the TV is going to leave the Atlanta warehouse because they are backlogged.  THIS HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.  Walmart needs to use a better shipping company, because this one does a horrible job.  I am afraid when I finally get it, it will be broken, since it has gone to a bunch of places it shouldn't have gone to.

Item came as damaged on the screen. It's hassle to remove the tv from package just to find out the screen was damaged. Now lot of work to put it back and drive the tv to the FedEx location.

So disappointing that we finally got our tv  (after 3  weeks of delays in the delivery) and tv panel was cracked! Walmart customer support wasn't much help and I just wanted a TV replacement and not a refund!

A shocking and horrible holiday shopping experience with Walmart, that I have never had with any other retailer claiming to be the worlds best retailer.
Not only did I receive the shipment late, but shockingly it was a salvaged broken tv with mud and insects and a different model.
